Original hand-inked 13-panel Mutt and Jeff Sunday comic, dated June 2, 1963, on a 22 x 14 sheet of off-white artist’s cardstock. Strip depicts Jeff training with a wrestling dummy and somehow coming out on the losing end. Signed in the last panel in black ink by Smith. Pencil notation to top border in an unknown hand reads, “Jeff is all tied up in physical fitness.” In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling.
