Outstandingly signed and inscribed sketch on the first free end page, “For Bea and Peter Cookson, Hirschfeld, Dec. 1973,” with Hirschfeld adding a fantastic self-portrait, with his hands pointing to the signature and inscription. Mild edge wear and toning to price-clipped jacket, and a hint of subtle toning to interior, otherwise fine condition. A crisp sketch, much larger than usually seen.
