He later became chief editor for <B>Mad</B></I> magazine. His art for those titles was just as good. This four panel section of an original comic page is a great example of his talent with pen and brush. The thicker inked outlines of his figures nicely framed the finer detail lines which comprised a striking style that was perfect for the female form as is prominently displayed here. This awesome art measures 7.5" x 22" and is in solid condition with moderate corner and edge wear, as well as moderate use of white out. This may be the only piece of artwork from this title to surface. Though an incomplete part of a page, it is a nice series of panels that has a comic strip type of completeness to it that will be enjoyed by whoever owns it. <B>Estimate: $750-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
