Production notes indicate that it was produced for Whitman publishing. Nine gorgeous gals are spotlighted on this vividly hued fashion statement! The image area measures 21.5" x 12.5", and the art is in Excellent condition. Barbie paper dolls first became available in 1962, only three short years after the debut of the Barbie doll. The Western Publishing Company. began production under license from Mattel on a line of paper dolls based on the Barbie doll and fashions. Al Anderson designed the paper dolls of the 1960s and early 1970s.
