<B>Akan (Ghana)</B></I><BR>Lidded Sheet Brass Container, <I>forowa</B></I><BR>Brass<BR>Height: 3 ¾ inches Dia.: 4 ½ inches<BR><BR>A small version like the previous examples, this container has embossed geometric designs only, disposed on the lid in a concentric pattern from the raised circular center motif, and on the cylindrical body, circumferentially. The base has repeated vertical embossed designs only.<BR><BR>The bottom edge of the flange is slightly torn at several spots.<BR><BR>Provenance: H.
