This is a cast iron parlor stove. The stove is marked "Saratoga County Airtight No. 1" and shows a patent date of 1847. The stove is very ornate with cast scrollwork and pillars. A fancy cast finial sit in top of the stove. Each leg shows a lion's head and an image of Neptune on the front. The piece is manufactured by Etna and is an original piece from circa 1847-1880. The cast iron has gilt painted accents with excellent quality. The piece is complete with the finial top, measure "23 1/2 L x 28 3/4" W x 38 " H. Finial and legs can be removed for shipping.
