Superb example of Victorian blown glass, after the style of Webb or Stevens & Williams, in a soft creamy green satinized glass. Blown in a wide melon rib Neo-classical form and contrasting applied clear satin glass handle.<BR><BR>The enameling is expertly done with superb detail to the flowers. The vibrantly colored blue and rusty tangerine enamels are thickly applied and expertly rendered; the bottom of the vase has an unpolished rough pontil mark.<BR><BR>Measures 9.5 inches high with a 4 inch diameter base. 4.5 inches at its widest point. Unsigned, circa 1888-1890 and rated to be in overall near excellent condition for its 100 plus years.<BR><BR>
