Lost wax casting method bronze, with brown patina & handpainted gilt, mounted on marble base. 10lbs. 20" H X 8" W Pierre Le Faguays was born in Nantes, France & became famous for the originality & grace he gave his dancers, many of which were inspired by the statues of Tanagra. He was awarded a medal of honor for his work in 1927.Â
