<B>Adventures of the Fly #1 (Archie, 1959) CGC VF+ 8.5 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> On the heels of Archie Publications' re-entry into the superhero genre two months earlier with <B>The Double Life of Private Strong</B></I>, came this premiere issue with cover and art by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. The issue isn't found in high-grade often; in fact, CGC hasn't certified a grade higher than this one's to date. The Fly's origin is told, and there's a Shield appearance. George Tuska also contributes interior art. Overstreet 2007 VF 8.0 value = $400; VF/NM 9.0 value = $675.
