DS, in German, one page, 8.25 x 11.75, August 2, 1936. A promotion for Adolf Walther, a graduate from the Wehrmacht Kriegsschule in Hanover, to the rank of Major in the Randienstalter. Signed at the conclusion by Hitler and countersigned at the bottom by Werner von Blomberg. Central horizontal and vertical fold, one affecting first name of signature, a couple of small pencil notations, and a few light wrinkles and creases, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by two unsigned documents, in German, relating to Walther’s early career.
