These historic photos show the famous explorer with Edsel Ford, who purchased <I>Josephine</B></I>, the plane Byrd used to fly over the North Pole; his colleagues; his 86-year-old grandmother, Mrs. J. Rivers Byrd; and even his little dog, aptly named Igloo!
