Adams patent percussion revolver marked “Blanch & Son London” , approx. .45 caliber (54 bore). Double-action percussion pistol, blued finish, border scroll engraved, checkered wood grips, octagon barrel,side-mounted ramrod, engraved on right side “Adam’s Patent #40’283”. In its original case with fully intact maker’s label in lid. The revolver remains in very good plus original condition showing 75-85% original blue,drifting and toning, some erosion and pinprick pitting where metal is exposed with natural aging. The markings are good, the hand-cut address on frame is crisp. The stocks are very good plus with sharpcheckering. The case is in good to very good original condition showing a wooly green felt lining. The partition shows some tatters and slight damage, but is generally good overall. A fully intact John Blanch originallabel is in the lid which shows the British national crest. A correct mold, rod, screwdriver are included with a bag-shape flask of later vintage.
