Lovely collection of four signed photos, all roughly 8 x 10, each signed by a notable actor or actress, including: Ethel Merman, Helen Morgan, Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, and Queenie Smith. In overall fine condition. Individual descriptions are as follows:

Ethel Merman: Matte-finish 8 x 10 photo by Chris Alexander, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To Walter, Best wishes, Ethel Merman.” In fine condition, with a couple creases to bottom edge and a photographer’s stamp to top.

Helen Morgan: Vintage glossy 8 x 10 double-weight photo of Morgan in a flowing gown holding a matching fan, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Dick Mongende—Come East young man, Come East—Good luck, Helen Morgan.” A tack hole to top edge and scattered creases, heavier to right side, otherwise fine condition.

Jeanette MacDonald: Vintage matte-finish 7.25 x 9.25 bust portrait of MacDonald, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Worth J. Elliott, Sincerely, Jeanette MacDonald.” A prominent stain to MacDonald’s cheek and trimmed edges, otherwise fine condition.

Nelson Eddy: Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait of Eddy, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Jeanette Elizabeth, Best wishes, Nelson Eddy.” In fine condition.

Queenie Smith: Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 portrait of Smith holding a flower near her chest, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Edward Nigsch, Sincerely, Queenie Smith.” In fine condition, with a slight brush to the inscription.
