<B>Action Comics #70 (DC, 1944) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages.</B></I> An unusual nighttime cover scene by Jack Burnley really makes this issue stand out. In the Superman story inside, mob figures go on a crime spree only to be thwarted by... Clark Kent? Other superhero stories in the issue include the Vigilante, Congo Bill, Zatara, and the Americommando (the latter with Bernard Baily art). To date, only the Mile High copy has been graded higher by CGC! Overstreet 2006 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,007; NM- 9.2 value = $1,375.
