<B>Action Comics #252 (DC, 1959) CGC FN 6.0 Off-white pages.</B></I> The origin and first appearance of Supergirl makes this by far the most valuable <B>Action</B></I> issue of the post-Golden Age era. Her first story was drawn by Al Plastino and written by Otto Binder (whom some credit with creating the character, while others give Mort Weisinger the nod). The issue also has the first appearance of the villainous Metallo. The cover's by Curt Swan. Overstreet 2006 FN 6.0 value = $450.
