From ''Roman Holiday'' to ''The Birds,'' Head created costumes for some of Hollywood's most memorable films, and dressed leading ladies generation after generation. Head signs inside of a greeting card ''Edith Head'' in bold, black marker. Signature is large, measuring 3.5'' x 2.5''. Front of card depicts the First Congregational Church of Canterbury. Card measures 8'' x 5'' opened with a few minor creases running vertically, else near fine.
