Absolutely fascinating handmade Persian Hamadan. Made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye. Hand woven in City of Hamadan from Iran. The geometric desgin on the red rich background are beautifully put together in this Rug. The contast of colors, the complicated shapes are very unique in this Rug. The artist have use the white color to give a border to the centreral medallion to make it really standout. Size: 5 feet 3 inches X 3 feet 1 inch.
