Absolutely Fabulous Super Fine Part Silk Fine Persian Tabriz Rug. Made of all natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, finest baby lambs wool pile with pure silk highlights on cotton foundation. This is a beautiful Tabriz with glowing baby lambs wool and silk high lights of superior quality which gives a lustrous appearance of utmost beauty. This is an exceptionally intricate and exquisite piece in design, color scheme and weave. This fabulous piece has the most dazzling array of color palette. Where a typical Persian Rug is limited to a range of about twelve and sixteen colors, this lovely pieces features more than forty two different colors, creating a tapestry of colors that is feast for the eyes. A testimonial to the idea that Rugs are indeed true portable gardens. Please notice that also attesting to the fine weave is the fact that the back of this Rug looks as good as the front. The leather band sewn on the edge on the back of this Rug is to prevent the edges from curling under due to the extreme tightness of the weave. This lovely piece is masterfully woven, knot by knot, and has about 400 knots per square inch. It takes well over four years for a master weaver to create this beauty.
