Absolutely Captivating Gravure, Catholic Pilgrimage Site in Germany. Beautifully matted and framed gravure. Charming Maurice Legendre ( 1878-1955) framed gravure depicting the catholic pilgrimage church of saint Bartholomew on picturesque lake Konigssee ( kings lake ) in southern Bavaria near the Austrian border and city Af Salzburg. The church is accessible only by ship or an exhausting hike, and is the site of an annual august pilgrimage. Maurice Legendre ( 1978-1955 ) was an award-winning french impressionist and sculpture, especially known for his rendering of Parisian and London landmarks. A lovely memento matted and framed, ready to hang. Size: 20X18 inches. Country of origin: France.
