<B>Abraham Lincoln Unsigned Autograph Document.</B></I> Sangamon Co., Ill., no date (docketed December 1844), about one-half page, folio. An affidavit signed by John Rhea, complainant in Rhea vs James Rhea's heirs, in which he declares that several named defendants "<I>reside without the limits of this state</B></I>." Lincoln and Stephen Logan represented Rhea in this chancery suit, which was decided in his favor in March 1845. Old glassine repairs to folds on verso. <I>From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.</B></I>
