<B>Abraham Lincoln: Rare Brownware Vase from the Civil War Period.</B></I> Apparently made by the same manufacturer as the familiar smaller, handleless vase with the same high-relief, bearded portrait. However, we cannot recall seeing this much more dramatic, larger version before. Patriotic eagle above the portrait, which supports generally accepted dating as pre-assassination. Gilt accents on some of high points may be as made or a later addition. Excellent condition.
