Being the official notarized petition of a father, "<I>that his son Charles W. Randall has enlisted in the United States Service, is now in the 67th Regiment Pa. vols. ... that said Charles W. Randall enlisted without his knowledge or consent, and further that Charles W. Randall was born on the fifteenth day February A.D. 1850, and was therefore but fourteen years of age on the fifteenth day of February A.D. 1844.</B></I>" Lincoln has written: "<I>Let this boy be discharged upon refunding any bounty received</B></I>."
