<B>Abraham Lincoln Manuscript Document Signed <I>"Stuart & Lincoln for Pl ainti ff,"</B></I></B></I> one page, 8" x 2.5", no place , June 18, 1838, a receipt for $420 received from Sheriff <I>"G. Elkin... in the case of Hickman vs. Braucher."</B></I> One of the earliest known examples of a Lincoln legal document we have ever encountered. Signed only a year after Lincoln formed his first partnership with John T. Stuart. Includes a letter of authenticity from Lincoln National Life Foundation and R. Gerald McMurtry. An extremely early piece.
