<B> Abraham Lincoln - Collection of Signatures and Manuscripts</B></I> by various individuals who at some point came into contact with President Lincoln. Lot is generally made up of signatures on cards solicited by Henry E. Luhrs, and in some instances, the individual adds a personal anecdote. Most notably is a good content typed manuscript by a man in his eighties who claims to have slept in between Lincoln and U.S. Grant at Dixon, Illinois in 1858.<BR><BR>Also in the lot, an ALS by <B>Albert D. Richardson,</B></I> 4 pages, 5" x 8", April 29, 1865, to noted biographer James Parton, regarding plans for a biography on Lincoln. In part: "<I>I suppose Mr. Lincoln's family & special friends, as usual will want him done up in six volumes of elegant, stupid & undiscriminating panegyric.
