<B>Abraham Lincoln Autograph Endorsement Signed</B></I> three times "<I>Parker & Lincoln, p.d.</B></I>" No place or date (Tazewell Co., Ill.; docketed September, 1852), one page, folio, on blue paper. An incomplete document, consisting of several pleas in Amos Eggleson vs Tarrant A. Perkins. The defendant claims that he fully paid a judgment due the plaintiff and has a receipt for same, and further that, being "<I>wholly insolvent, having no property whatever, liable to execution...</B></I>" he had offered $25 "<I>in full discharge of said judgment...</B></I>", which offer the plaintiff accepted. Records show that Lincoln lost this case on 21 September 1852 when the jury found for the plaintiff in the amount of $110.45. <I>From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.</B></I>
