A general plea in Calvin D. May vs James Hollister, in which the defendant claims "<I>he is not guilty in manner and form as…alledged…</B></I>" A somewhat uncommon association of Lincoln with his bosom friend, Ward Hill Lamon, who was his only official local law partner on the 8th judicial circuit.
