<B>Abraham Lincoln: Another Chromo-Lithograph Image of Lincoln, a Slightly Different Portrait</B></I> of similar manufacture to an 1864-dated chromo-litho offered elsewhere in this auction, this example was produced by a different company, "Smith & Murray, Cincinnati, OH" and is dated 1867. The appearance of this version three years after the original attests to the continuing popularity and marketability both of Lincoln's image and this chromolithograph process. Condition is as nice as the preceding lot with equal display appeal. Once again, housed in its original gold leaf frame. The appearance of the frame is somewhat nicer than the previous example, owing to some touchup paintwork.
