Original printed circular by Abby H. Folsom announcing an abolitionist meeting in Boston, one page, 7.5 x 9.75, bearing an ink notation to the lower border, “July 3/51.” In part: “Let there be a universal gathering of the people, irrespective of color, country, sect or sex. Who would not make a visit to Boston to listen to the sound doctrine, the elevating principles, which will then and there be declared by the incorruptible friends of freedom?…all persons can and ought to be free and equal.” In fine condition, with mounting remnants to the right border.
