Boxing Hall of Famer (1883–1970) who was featherweight boxing champion of the world from 1901–1912. Attell later became one of the instigators of the 1919 Chicago Black Sox scandal. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Attell in his prime wearing his championship belt, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To my pal Vince from the little champ, Abe Attell 11/14/59.” In fine condition, with some light skipping to last name of signature.
