Discusses myth of origin, days and dances of the ceremony, sacrifices, and texts and translation of songs. 3) The Seminole Indians of Florida, by Clay MacCauley. Discusses personal characteristics, psychical characteristics, Seminole society, tribal life and the environment. 4) The Religious Life of the Zuni Child, by Mrs. Tilly E. Stevenson (Matilda Coxe Evans.) Stevenson became a noted anthropologist after accompanying her husband on geological tours throughout the United States. She worked with the Bureau of Ethnography for six years. After her husband died in 1886, her work continued and she published additional papers [jah.oxfordjournals.org].
