Hopi Pueblos. A young man stands with his hands on his hips in front of an adobe wall. He is barefooted and wears a checked loincloth. The caption reads simply: Arizona Indians. We are assuming this man is Hopi, but there is no identification. Matted in yellow with American Views printed at one end and New H Series printed at the other. This company was located in New York and produced many low-quality “pirated” photos, primarily between the years 1870 and 1890. This is what is called a no-name” pirate company, meaning those that do not credit any person or photographer. Fair contrast and poor focus [Ref: www.yellowstonestereoviews.com].
