A set of puppets from the musical comedy Avenue Q. The show featured both human and puppet characters in a hilarious parody of Sesame Street. The puppets were either rod-controlled or performed with 'live-hands', a technique requiring a pair of puppeteers. These puppets were made and used in the Australian production in 2015 by Promotechnics, closely following the original character designs created by talented puppet master and creator of the original Broadway show, Rick Lyon.

These puppets were used for the scene in which Kate and Princeton visit the "Around the Clock Cafe" on a date, which goes awry amid a performance by Lucy the Slut, some absinthe daiquiris and questionable advice from the Bad Idea Bears.

The set is composed of puppets of Kate Monster, Princeton, Lucy the Slut and three Bad Idea Bears. The puppets are all constructed from upholstery foam, plastic and cardboard, covered in Antron fleece. Kate Monster is a single rod puppet in a lilac top and purple skirt. Princeton is a single rod puppet in a blue button-up shirt and knitted vest. Lucy is a single rod puppet and wears a white crop top, leopard print skirt, waist chain, earrings, a "Lucy" necklace and plain necklace, earrings, rings, and has red acrylic nails. A blue 'Bad Idea' Bear has a red bow tie and two rods, and two yellow 'Bad Idea' Bears have red hair bows and lace skirts, one with two rods, the other without. All remain in excellent condition with their original storage bags. Dimensions (largest): 55 cm x 35 cm x 23 cm (21" x 13" x 9")
