Two oil on panel paintings, one shows a farmer with cattle and sheep talking to a man with a stick bundle and dog. Water on left with dirt road having two travelers in mid distance. Town is on left side with tall spire. Other painting shows woman and child walking on dirt path toward two men with cattle and dog. Woods are seen on left side, small town with spire is seen in distance. Both identically framed in fancy gilt pierced carved frames. Wood panels have canvas backing. Remnants of two early heart shaped labels with writing can be found on back of panel. Provenance: Purchased from Andre Delvaille Paris, France 1975. Copy of receipt to accompany paintings.
