War-date A.L.S. on official letterhead as Reichsminister, Den Haag, Sept 9., 1941 to Martin Bormann, Chief of the Party Chancellery. In part: ?Dear Party Comrade Bormann,? will deliver 24 cans of tomato sauce which is so popular with the Fuhrer. Please direct the shipment to the Fuhrer.? Receiving stamp at top right. With a retained copy of a T.L.S. with initial to Seyss-Inquart by MARTIN BORMANN (1900-1945), 1p. 4to., [n.p..], Dec. 22, 1942, in part: "...At your last visit at the Fuhrerhauptquartier you left several cans of tomato juice for me, which were delivered to me in Berlin? I regret that I was not able to meet with you personally. I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all the best for the coming holidays and the new year.? Both letters have file holes at left, Bormann?s retained copy has a one inch tear at the top right corner (repaired), corners creased.
