<p><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>ARCHIBALD GRACIE, JR. </span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial; color:windowtext'>(1832-1864). Confederate brigadier general who fought in the Kentucky campaign, Chickamauga, Bean’s Station, Petersburg, and served under Beauregard in the campaign on May 1864. Presented is a signed Official Register of the officers and cadets of the West Point Military Academy, Jun 1852, and indicating Gracie had graduated fourteenth in his class. Boldly signed on cover adding “<i>Elizabethtown, NJ July 25, 1852</i>.” Also included is an unsigned Register for June 1851. Both are in very good condition. Very nice example with brief printed biography.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
