Rare. <B>Fresh, well-detailed reverse die; Mint State.</B> <BR><BR>The obverse die of this tetradrachm is the first to name Shim&#39;on, the leader of the new Jewish state. Leo Mildenberg selected this die to illustrate the dust jacket of his book, <I>The Coinage of the Bar Kokhba War.</I> A well struck and fully centered piece.
