The L-shaped antler handle on this handsome cane has a bulldog head carved into the vertical part of the handle.This portion has also been smoothed off, with most of the antler texture remaining on the horizontal portion. Thehandle is 5" wide and 4.25" high. There is a sterling collar attaching the handle to the stepped cane shaft. The shafthas each section stained darker at the top and left lighter near the next section, giving it an almost tortoiseshellappearance. The nickel ferrule has worn to less than 1". The collar has solder around the top giving it an appearancesimilar to that of the antler, but some is missing, as is one of the bulldog's glass eyes. Total length is nearly 34".(EST 200-300)
