<td width="100%">
This is a very old bidri huqqa with intricate silver inlay work from india suggested around 1800's. There is a marking at the bottom ( 07 ) , I am not too very sure either it could be serial number of it could be year of manufacture . At various place the inlaid silver has come off which is due to its age. This huqqa ( VASE ) was made with allied material and there are four stages to make this completely .
CASTING : This was a difficult process as a combination of various allied material in proper proportion was used and had to be very accurately mixed.

ENGRAVING : Firstly the artist had to make a design on the object and then start engraving with small tools, one small mistake would spoil the entire object. This minute work takes very long.

INLAYING : After carving this process of inlaying comes which was again very difficult as the artist had to keep in mind the actual size of each engraving and accordingly had to cut the piece of silver to be engraved, above all he had to make sure that the piece is properly fixed.

OXYDISING: This was done in the last after finishing the work.

An excellent piece or ancient art and an amazing decorative piece.
