Dated October 30, 1930, Shanghai China. Written by typewriter and hand signed by Reverend H.G.C. Hallock. A letter to the editor describing Chinese children and bringing them "the great big heart of love that tries to make other people happy," which he describes as the spirit of Christmas. Although not racist for it's time, taken out of context and read as if it was written today it would be considered racist with remarks such as "chinks" and "slant eye." Includes vintage image of what the author describes as the Chinese gods of mercy.
