Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver. 36 calibre cap and ball. Serial No. 26218. Made circa 1854-55. War Department marked "W.O." This was an armorors trial piece. The rammer and frame are as new. Name mostly removed on top of barrel and bottom of butt (grip) frame looks like it was used as a hammer. Bore is as new, cylinder pins are intact. The pistol suffered abuse in the Armory being used as a trial gun to diagnose working problems. Possibly reblued. Grips each have chip out and one has small repair - see pictures; Barrel length is 7 1/2 inches.

Each Internet Buyer must register with Meyers Auctions & Appraisals Service prior to bidding. The highest bidder on a lot shall be the buyer of the lot.
