14k Gold Men's Tie Clasp with a 'Liberty Head $5.00 Gold dated 1914'. Liberty Head Gold coins are classic symbols of America’s golden history. The Liberty Head Gold Coins were inspired in 1849 by the California “Gold Rush.” The Liberty Head Gold coins were last struck nearly a century ago in 1908 and had a VERY LOW MINTAGE of just 247,000! The $5.00 Indian Gold Coin is one of two coins designed by sculptor 'Bela Lyn Pratt'. The obverse pictures an Indian Chief. The Chief is wearing a full feathered headdress with the word 'LIBERTY' inscribed on the headband. There is a border of 13 Stars and the minting date encircle the Indian Chief. The reverse features a Bald Eagle standing amidst Olive branches surrounded by the words 'United States of America'.This ANTIQUE 1914 FIVE DOLLAR GOLD COIN TIE CLASP would make an Outstanding and memorable gift.
