<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(d. 1909). Lawman and cattle rancher. Ambushed near his ranch at Ada, OK, he was the last victim of notorious outlaw James B. “Killer” Miller who had been hired to assassinate him. Partly printed DS “<i>A.A. Bobbitt</i>” twice as deputy marshal, 2pp, legal folio, Southern District, Indian Territory, Dec 26, 1896. Criminal docket warrant for arrest and subpoena of witnesses and temporary mittimus committing defendant to jail at Panes Valley to be held for trial on charge of stealing cattle. Boldly signed once on each page. Engrossed portions darkly penned. Light general toning; single horizontal fold; dampstains at top martin of minimal affect; o/w VG. Embroiled in a bitter feud with ranchers Jesse West and Joseph Allen, Bobbitt was murdered by Miller in a contract killing. They, in turn, were lynched in a stable by Ada citizens who believed the three would be unjustly set free at trial.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
