In 1967, Warhol established a print-publishing business, Factory Additions, through which he published a series of screenprint portfolios on his signature subjects. Marilyn Monroe was the first one. He used the same publicity still of the actress that he had previously used for dozens of paintings.
This is an ink drawing that shows her head and shoulders, that is unique, drawn and signed by Andy Warhol. Size 8x6 inches. There is a crease through the piece. It is Mounted, framed and supplied with letter from estate.

The winning bidder agrees to pay a buyers premium of 33% on the hammer price. Plus Icollector 3% commission to Kristen Leigh auctions limited.
1. Kristen Leighs auctions limited has endeavored to accurately describe all items being sold. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. There are no warranties or representations of merchant-ability of fitness, nor of any other kind, express or implied. All items are available for your examination prior to bidding by appointment only. Your bidding will signify that you have examined the items as fully as desired, or that you have chosen not to examine them. Kristen Leighs auctions ltd shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement, does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear, imperfections or aging. Any condition statement written or verbal is given as a courtesy to the client, and is only an opinion. It should not be treated as a statement of fact. Written and oral descriptions are statement of opinion and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold. Kristen Leighs auctions ltd goal is to provide prospective bidders with accurate and detailed information. Estimates provided are an opinion as to the price that a willing buyer would pay for the property at auction. No statement written or oral made by the auctioneer shall be deemed a warranty or assumption of liability by Kristen Leighs auctions ltd or by any seller represented by Kristen Leighs auctions ltd. Kristen Leighs auctions limited acts merely as an agent. The contract of sale is between the cosigner and buyer. Kristen Leighs auctions ltd holds no responsibility as to authenticity or condition of items.
2. The auctioneer will be the final judge as to who is the succesful bidder. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer shall at his discretion decide whether or not to reopen the bidding. If an item is withdrawn from auction it will be offered again at the auctioneers discretion. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the succesful bidder at the fall of the auctioneers hammer. The purchaser shall assume full responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. All lots in the catalogue are subject to a reserve, of which the amount is confidental between Kristen Leighs auctions ltd and the consigner. We reserve the right to bid up to the amount of reserve by placing successive or consecutive bids for a lot, or bid in response to other bidders.
3.The auction house has at any time the right to void the sale before any lots are shipped and will refund all monies paid within a reasonable amount of time normally within 2 weeks. If in an event of a return agreeable, we seek the return postage to be sent to us in advance to cover postage claims.
3a. Invoices will be sent to the winning bidder within 3 days of the close of the auction. And payment is due within 3 days of the invoice being sent. A late fee of 4 pound per lot may be levied per day for any outstanding payment after this.
REFUNDS.
If Kristen Leigh auctions limited, accepts a return of goods, then a refund will be processed minus Icollectors 3% commission, 2.5 percent Izettle's card providers charge, and minus postage that was paid for the items being sent to the customer. No refunds will be made for postage that the customer has had to pay. A refund will only be actioned on exceptional circumstances where we believe it is fair for a refund to be made, upon agreement from both parties. Questions are to be asked on condition, and any provenance before bidding in our auction. We can only give an opinion on condition, however this is merely an opinion. Regarding provenance again any coa's given are of opinion only and may differ from authenticators.
SHIPPING.
A sihipping quote is provided by Kristen Leighs auctions limited on invoices and automatically includes tracking, which can be tracked on your end to your address. Insurance isn't included and can be added at an extra cost by contacting us. Please note most of the framed items come with Perspex, glass may still be used and will not be covered with insurance. Perspex can be swapped at no extra cost only with advanced notice by the buyer.
4. In bidding on any lot offered, the bidder indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. Title of each lot passes when the auctioneer or screen indicates sold. The bidder is responsible for knowing on which item he/she is bidding. If unsure the bidder should inquire or not bid. When becoming the winning bidder at auction, you have affected a contract and will be expected to pay for items in which you were evidenced to be the successful bidder.
All autographed lots (Excluding signed photos) over the value of £150 will include a third party certificate of authenticity. A certificate of authenticity is an opinion expressed by a company as to it being genuine. We welcome all bidders to do their own research before bidding, and to ask questions before bidding as the winner of a lot will enter into a legally binding contract to pay for the lot. As in condition of a lot, we give no opinions, and items are sold as seen.
