Technique: Original Double-Sided Stamp Signed Pencil and Ink Drawing on paper

Paper Size (aprox.): 26.5 x 21 cm / 10.4 x 8.3 in.

Additional Information: The drawing is stamp signed with the atelier stamp of Andre Derain "ATELIER ANDRE DERAIN" at the lower right.
Derain didn't sign many of his drawings, therefore this stamp was used to mark and authenticate his original works.
Additionally, it is also stamped with the Andre Derain - Knaublich sale on the reverse. This stamp relates to a large sale which took place in Paris in the auction house Loiseau and Schmitz, where the Raymonde Knaublich collection of Derain's works was sold.
Raymonde Knaublich was Derain's model and lover.
