Kushan, Kanishka II, Gold Dinar, 7.89g, Obv: Nimbate king, wearing conical helmet, tunic, trousers and boots standing holding a standard with pennants, offering sacrifice at an altar, with a trident - battle-axe standard attached with ribbons in the background; Bactrian legend "ShAONANOShAOKONEShKOKOShANO" around, Brahmi letter "Ve" to the right of the standard held by the king, and letter Ha near the base of the altar, Rev: Nimbate goddess, seated on high-back throne with her feet on a footrest, carrying cornucopia in one hand and a diadem in the other, Bactrian legend "ARDOKhShO" to right and a Tamgha in the left field (Gobl 541). Extremely fine, rare.
