AN INDUSTRIAL NAMEPLATE "MANVERS MAIN No. 42". As carried by a Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 with inside cylinders built as Works No. 1690 emerging from Works on 26th November 1937. It went to Manvers Main Collieries Ltd as "No. 11". On becoming NCB property on 1st January 1947 the "11" was ground off and "42" painted on. It was scrapped in July 1966. Rectangular cast brass, 41"x5", unrestored except the letters are lightly polished.
