A massive example, the silver-covered grip with flared pommel, finely engraved overall in flowering vine motifs. The deeply curved, double-edged blade forged of pattern-welded damascus steel and terminating in an armor-piercing tip, chiseled at the forte with the fully-modelled openwork figures of Kartikeya, the Hindu god of War, and his companion, the Red Fox.
