Very Fine+ Folded
Barber International, 1981

An appropriately playful design seamlessly combines the film's humor and horror and highlights the award-winning makeup effects by Rick Baker. Signed by David Naughton at Spooky Empire (Orlando, FL) in 2021 and Griffin Dunne at Horrorhound Weekend (Indianapolis, IN) in 2023.

The poster shows minor handling wear, slight creasing, and two extra horizontal folds.

This John Landis film, which grossed more than $62 million worldwide against a budget of less than $6 million, has become a landmark in the comedy-horror genre, inspiring such later works as Gremlins (1984), Evil Dead 2 (1987), and Beetlejuice (1988). It also led to Michael Jackson hiring Landis to direct and Baker to supply the special effects for his Thriller video in 1983, widely hailed as the greatest music video of all time.
