A finely made bronze by the sculptor Antonio Pandiani (1838-1928) of Milan, being a small-form copy of one of the fontana dei mostri marini in Florence, Italy. The originals, created by the famed Italian sculptor Pietro Tacca (1577-1640) and his apprentices, are kept in the Piazza della Santissima Annunziata in Florence, on either side of the equestrian statue of Ferdinando I de' Medici.
