AMERICAN INDIAN KNIVES & BEADWORK.

The items in this group generally have construction or decorative motifs associated w/ Native American cultures.
1) KNIFE SHEATH. A 16" (w/ fringe) deer hide sheath w/ intricate beadwork decoration on the front. Decorative motif includes 4 American flags & an area of Native American iconography. Sheath opening is slightly over 3" & there is about 4" of fringe around the outside edge. CONDITION: light wear overall.
2) BELT KNIFE. Overall length: 12 1/2". Blade length: 6 1/2". Plain flat blade marked, “ACERO” on the flat. Rope & arrowhead at the guard area. 2 Piece horn grips w/ 3 rivet attachment on each side. Horn scabbard w/ 11 rivet construction. CONDITION: knife & scabbard show light wear overall.
3) BAG. Overall length: 14". Bag appears to be deer hide w/ a brass ball button closure. White, red, blue & yellow bead decoration on the front of the bag. The edges of the bag are covered w/ a blue cotton material & the reverse is backed w/ a red cotton weave material. CONDITION: bag shows light to moderate wear overall w/ a few missing beads.
4) KNIFE. Overall length: 19". Blade length: 11". A lg. modern made, crude belt knife emulating a Native American style. Hand forged heavy blade w/ iron wire wrapped ricasso. Antler grip w/ brass tack decoration. Leather sheath w/ similar brass tack decoration. CONDITION: knife has an old appearance but actually has little or no wear.
5) BELT. A 32" hide belt w/ intricate bead design on the face w/ alternating red, green, blue & white triangles. There is a sm. hole at either end as designed for a tie closure. CONDITION: belt shows light wear overall. (02-16673-19/BF). $400-700.
